I need more time (and frankly more energy before I write about the show, but in the meantime.....
1st in both of my classes with one horse and 5th in both my classes with five horses, so don't get excited, we did not do well 😂 |
But my support crew was on point (way more on that later, including an AWESOME SURPRISE). |
And I got to spend a ton of quality time with Ruby and learn a lot ♥️ |
Horse show hangover is real. I am sure you learned tons and I am excited for you. 😁
ReplyDeleteI still feel vaguely hungover three days later lol
DeleteAND you looked gorg in your teal coat!
ReplyDeleteThank you! The judge on Sunday also liked it (that was the only thing she liked) 😂😂
DeleteHeck I just get excited when people go to shows. You went out, put yourself out there in front of someone and put yourself at the mercy of whatever external factors there were to still go down center line. Hope horse show hangover isn't slamming you very hard.
ReplyDeleteThere were a lot of external factors 🥴 could've done without 30 mph wind gusts Saturday haha
DeleteCongratulations in any case! Good for you!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteYaaay!!!!!
ReplyDelete🥳 we did it! Not very well, but we did it!
DeleteI'm sorry it didn't go as you hoped, but you both look amazing anyway! Can't wait to read all about it. I'm sure it was a good learning show if nothing else.
ReplyDeleteAlways a good learning experience!
DeleteI am just so damn proud of you. It takes GUTS to get out there.
ReplyDeleteThank you ♥️
DeleteSounds similar to my show weekend, right down to the hangover! Glad you had time with good people and of course a good mare!
ReplyDeleteHorse friends are the best friends and I'm lucky I showed with such a supportive crew!
DeleteI don't think I've set foot in a show ring in more than 5 years. Good on you for getting out there!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
