Blogger is doing the backwards photo inserting thing again 🤬 ughhhh. My mom came over for dinner last night and I needed to ride so I dragged her along with me! I tossed her up on Ruby on the bareback pad in a sidepull and they dinked around while I worked Cinna.

Cinna started the ride a little lit up about "dead people corner" but settled in quickly and trotted and cantered on a loose rein in all parts of the arena. Good girl!
Your mom is so tiny! So fun to get to ride together, sounds like a fun evening!

DeleteThe more I read about Ruby and see pictures, the more I love her. Fancy dressage horse one day and bareback, hackmore meandering the next. What an absolutely lovely mare! So fun to get to ride with your mom!
ReplyDeleteShe is really, really special and I'm very lucky to have her. I actually started riding her regularly in the sidepull a few years ago so she could take over as my husband's trail horse when his retired, but he seems disinclined to make the switch, lol. But it definitely comes in handy because I can throw anyone else up there on her too!
