Tired Thursday

I have both words and media for you, but no brain cells to organize them. DH got called in to work overnight unexpectedly and I've been melting in this heat wave for most of the week and dealing with some work-related stressors. So you get this miscellaneous photo dump in lieu of a real post, but I figure since it's a holiday week things are slow in blogland anyway! 😉

My dogs definitely aren't spoiled or anything. 
My newsfeed is full of heat memes (although I think it should break for this weekend, thankfully!)

Had a super ride on Monday, and got the Pixio to cooperate for footage! 
Will I ever learn to sit up and stop staring at her neck? Probably not. 
Celebratory carbs and Chianti on Tuesday after Zumba (probably defeating the purpose of Zumba lol).
Went to the sandbar yesterday for the holiday. Most of it was underwater 🤷🙈
Ruby had some feeling about this morning's work.
Hopefully everyone survived the 4th with all their digits and sanity intact! 😎

    We're melting her too. It's not supposed to be 39 degrees in NS! I quite like Zumba when I did it. I think I will try to get back into it this winter.

      It worked out quite well because the building it's held in is literally on my commute home at the exact time I'm driving through -- so it's easy! And not too expensive (but I paid in advance so I make myself go lol).

    Oh the heat is brutal here too. I have been waiting until 7p to ride and even then, though the heat index is safe, it is gross and buggy. I feel ya on the "sit up and stop staring at her neck" thing. I keep telling myself I need to strengthen my core with yoga and exercises and then I just eat a snack and sit in the AC instead. *sigh*

    The memes are killing me! We have a lot of those for NC/SC aka Satan's bumhole, I think the whole country is frying at the moment. Hope the weather cools off for you a bit!

      Yeah I think basically every area of the country was using those memes this week, SO HOT! We should get a little break this weekend, hopefully you do too 😎

      I actually saw a map of the globe colored by temp this morning and something like 80%+ of it was experiencing higher than normal temps? We were all melting! So gross.
